Maybe she thought it would improve the economy by giving us illustrators a job ;)

Starting the first 25pages with a cup of hot chocolate and a subzero winter storm happening outside.... Honestly I felt like I was a child again. Gradually gaining a feeling, I believe Marjane Satrapi is trying to emplace with the comic book expression. My guess is she's trying to enlighten the story or possibly she's trying to dumb it down for an ignorant reader. Either way the visual choices the illustrator made kept me humored and drew me further to the message.
